What file types and codecs are supported?
All the ones real post teams actually use. ProRes, DNxHD and DNxHR, H.264 and H.265 in MP4 or MOV, plus the common RAW proxies. Big files upload without choking, and transfers resume if your connection drops. We build preview proxies for you automatically, so reviewers scrub instantly on any device, even a phone on set.
Which NLE integrations do you support?
Premiere Pro and After Effects get native panels, and other major NLEs get panel support too. Push a cut straight from your timeline, then pull frame-accurate comments back in without retyping a thing. Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zapier catch the notifications so a note never sits unread.
How does Camera-to-Cloud work with my camera/recorder?
You send proxies from set to PlayPause while you are still shooting. Your producer and client start reviewing dailies before the crew even wraps. That dead gap between production and post is where days quietly disappear, so we close it.
Can I restrict access by password, domain, or expiration?
Yes, all of it. Every share link takes a password, an expiry date, domain-locked access, and a watermark. Enterprise adds SSO with SAML, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, and legal holds. You decide who sees a cut and for how long. Not us.
How does pricing work for seats vs. reviewers?
One flat price per workspace. Not per person. Frame.io charges you for every client and freelancer you add, so collaborating literally grows your bill. That is backwards. Invite every reviewer and client your plan allows and pay the same. Paid plans start at $9 a month, and the full numbers live on the pricing page.
