Versions Should Not Eat Into Your Minutes. Here Is Why.

I uploaded version 14 of a 90 second ad once and felt a tiny knot in my stomach. Not because the cut was bad. Because I was watching a meter. Every render, every re-upload, every round of notes was quietly drawing down something I had paid for. That is a stupid way to make videos.
